Bethel EIC Easter Celebration

On Sat. 21 May, 2012, Bethel EIC had a special Easter celebration.  The Easter story was explained and enacted by staff, volunteers, parents and children.  Later, the children played games and coloured  their own Easter egg.  Finally there was a time of singing.

Sadly, we also had to say “Farewell and Bon Voyage” to our faithful volunteer, Ann Pereira.  Ann has been a very committed volunteer for the last 7 years.  She leaves us to move on to  Australia.  Bethel EIC will miss her sorely.  God bless Ann Pereira and family.

EIC Christmas Party 2011

Christmas came early to the EIC!  On Saturday, 19 November, 33 adults and 22 children celebrated the birth of Jesus with a time of singing Christmas carols, hearing the Christmas story, decorating the Christmas tree and acting out the Nativity Play.  It was a great end to the school year.

BETHEL EIC GRADUATION 2011

Bethel EIC had their Graduation and end-of-year party on Saturday, 12 November in St. Paul’s Church Hall, Petaling Jaya.  The event was attended by over 90 friends, family members and students.

Bethel Early Intervention Centre 2011 – Zoo visit

38 persons (children,parents and staff) spent a morning at the zoo, on 27 June, 2011.  They enjoyed a time of hands on playing with some animals, watching the animal show  and had a good time on the zoo train.

Bethel EIC Graduation & Fashion Show 2010

Bethel EIC had its end of year Graduation on Saturday, 30 October, 2010.  4 children graduated.  The morning also included special  items by some of the children and a Fashion Show contest.  The morning ended with lunch.

BETHEL EIC FAMILY DAY 2010

Bethel EIC children and their families had an enjoyable morning at  St. Paul’s Church Hall for their anual Family Day on 26 September, 2010. 

Mr. Tan Joon Chee,  Church Warden and committee member of the DTC Commmittee said a few words of thanks to Mrs. Lydia Wong, the former Chairperson of the DTC committee, who  has served as Chairperson for 17 years.  She was presented with a watch made by the trainees of the DTC Workshop.  Then Pastor Nesam Ebinezer, the new Chairperson, was welcomed.

Games were played, songs were sung and everyone was a winner with prizes for all.  The morning ended with refreshments provided by the parents.

Bethel EIC 29 July, 2010

Teacher Solomon Krishnan worked at Bethel EIC from February – July 2010.  29 July was his last class day at the EIC.  The staff and parents appreciated him with a little celebrartion.  He leaves to study medicine.

A Day at Bethel Early Intervention Centre

Classes begin with a time of one-to-one teaching by the staff.  Each child spends half an hour with the teacher.  While awaiting  their turn, the parents/carers work also with the child, using resources from the Centre.

Other sessions include gross motor skills, food break, group time and singing.
